Nearly 2/3 of people surveyed would try to sell their home on their own say they wouldn't do it again themselves. Some of the reasons include not knowing how to set the right price, not having the resources and expertise in marketing, as well as not having access to the latest technology, liability concerns and time constraints. Statistics show that a realtor can get a home sold for more money after the commission is paid than if the homeowner tried to sell their home on their own. Bottom line, that's more money in your pocket.
